Electronic Data Systems (EDS) (NYSE:EDS) announced on 28 May 2008 they are
one of 26 companies that may compete for task orders under the $12.225
billion, multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, ENCORE II
contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
The Rader Network LLC (TRN) will serve as a
subcontractor to EDS, and will provide risk management professional
engineering services and other security-related subject matter expertise.
The ENCORE II program provides global net-centric capabilities, services,
and solutions to the U. S. Department of Defense, Military Services, and
other agencies of the federal government. ENCORE II has a five-year base
followed by five one-year option periods. Under ENCORE II, the EDS
Team has the opportunity to assist the government in identifying and
maintaining the legacy baseline of requirements, processes, applications,
and automated systems; managing data standardization; developing integration
standards, processes, and methodologies; performing cross-functional
analysis for applications interfaces, interoperability, and integration;
providing functional and technical integration solutions; developing common
shared infrastructure services; and managing migration and integration
through the use of program metrics tools like the risk management professional engineering services provided by The Rader Network LLC.
